Meka Daito is an experimental Mark VI Jaeger that was constructed alongside Mōretsuna Tokage.
History[]
Meka Daito was the second of three Jaeger prototype units constructed in Toyko in 2033, as part of the Japan Federation's J Project. Built to complement the long-range unit......and mid-range unit Mōretsuna Tokage, Meka was designed to be a highly mobile, close range machine with advanced weaponry beyond that used by the PPDC's Jaegers.
The Jaeger would see use in the defense of the Federation's headquarters in Osaka from the Rogue Shao Drones and the pivotal raids on Mech Czar's bases. Its reputation was one of dread, with opposing armed forces nicknaming the unit and its pilots, White Devil.

Meka Daito was incredibly advanced for its time. Built from lightweight Alloys, its frame was both lighter than that of normal PPDC Jaegers and much sturdier, able to shrug off a missile barrage with little to no damage. Its offensive power was above and beyond that of the regular Jaegers. Meka would engage in most battles with its Plasma Saber, blades of extremely hot plasma which could cut through any metal with ease. Those beam sabers could be extended into a spear-like javelin, which could be used to stab into an enemy from a longer distance than the blade of the saber would allow.
It also had weight and stability issues due to it's experimental frame materials.
