The OSS-141X Mastermind is a special operations jaeger developed by Nomicon Heavy Industries. It is only available to only the "elite of the elite".
History[]
12 OSS-141X units are assigned to the PPDC Space Watch ship, La Princesse Sereine for testing and evaluation, including its elite Ranger team, the Beast Force. The same year, three units, piloted by a special branch of the 501st team were deployed during the terrorist assault on Torrington Base. The three Mastermind units along with other PPDC forces pushed back and eventually destroyed several of the attackers but failed to prevent the capture of the Orca Device.
Another 10 units would be produced and sent out to different VMFA-77 Teams such as the Shezarr and Jeddah teams.

The Mastermind is fitted with a redesigned backpack capable of tremendous thrust in order to achieve extended atmospheric flight. Although the Mastermind's weapon loadout is similar to the Shadowfortress's, the unit features improved and more advanced weapons. Examples of the Mastermind's superior armaments include the plasma carbine being upgraded to a Mega Cannon and deployable Forcefield Generator, which contains four missiles. In addition to having more advanced weaponry over the Shadowfortress, the Mastermind also has the Armed Armor VN (Vibration Nails) mounted on the unit's right forearm, it can transform into a shape similar to a beast's claw and uses the super-vibrating vice-like claws to effectively destroy other Jaegers and severly wound lightly armoured Kaiju. It is treated with plasma-resistant coating and can also be used as a shield or striking weapon when in closed-mode, and twin beam tonfas on its forearms for easier access.
